Doug had gotten off work at 10:45, so he was already running late. Hopefully she either was too, or at least had waited and not thought that he stood her up. He was sure though that if anyone would understand unrelenting hours it would be her. Entering the bar he brushed some snow from off of his jacket and hair, glancing around. He actually had worn the stethoscope to aid in her finding him.

Looking around he thought to himself. Who in here looks like they could be carrying a gun? That would be of little help. They were in Chicago after all.
